Amanda offers courses throughout the year. The following is 2011 and 2012 programmes. The days are offered regularly throughout the year; Cost £50 per person. Please contact us for further details and to book a place on any of the courses. Check out our writings.

New Course starts January 2012
The Home Herbalist Apprentice;
A one year course where you have the opportunity to learn to trust in your self and to trust the plants.This will enable you to attend to ailments and wellbeing within your self and your family.
The course consists of homestudy, attending 9 modules, 3 days in each of January, April and September. There will be 2 on line workshops in May and October . Telephone and email support will be available with Amanda.
* You will produce your own herbal choosing 5 herbs to study in depth from the Home Herbalist Apprentice materia medica.The herbal will be produced using information, research, direct experience, photographs or drawings.
*January 27th, 28th 29th Study modules;
Nurturing and Nourishing for ourselves and others . We will explore and get to know plants and foods that support and sustain wellbeing. Space will be given to ask ourselves what is nurturing and nourishing for us. Also to ask how do we nurture and nourish our self and others On this weekend each group member will have the opportunity to choose their five herbs to study in depth,the begining of the process of producing their herbal. A weekend to relax and rest back.
*April 20th 21st 22nd Study modules;
Herbs and natural healing methods that offer support for menstrual health:
We will explore herbs that can be used within the menstrual cycle, pelvic discomfort and disease also aspects of fertility will be covered. Being comfortable with ourselves will be the focus of this weekend no matter what is occurring or not occurring in our physiology. We will spend time with plants that whisper to us of ease, flow and harmony.
*September 21st 22nd 23rd Study modules;
Using herbs with babies and children : Wanting to be of assistance to our children is a very common shared thought. On this weekend we meet with herbs that speak of tenderness and gentleness.I hope everyone will be assured that they can attend to childhood ailments within the home using the herbs and foods we discuss and of course the healing balm of love.
All the study modules will cover exploration of herbs for the topic of focus and natural healing methods.
*The on line workshops topics in May and October will be discuused in the first teaching modules.
*Monthly telephone or email support with Amanda fo each group member.
*Throughout the year our shared intention and focus will be happiness and healing.
*The modules are arranged throughout the year so as we can observe the seasons, growing and harvesting cycles of the plants.
The course will be held in Bristol where there are easy road and transport links .
The cost of the course wil be £700 10% discount if paid in full before January 27th. Payment plan of 3 payments. first before January 27th of £300, May £200 and September £200.( Please note if you choose the payment plan it is an agreement to pay in full for the course.) A deposit of £50 is asked when booking a place which will contribute towards your first payment. If your place is cancelled after the 20th December the deposit is non refunable.

Heart Whispering: A herbal workshop for all those that support, assist and whisper of love to pregnant, birthing and postpartum women. Doulas, practitioners and friends, all are welcome.
This is a 2 day course. held in Wells Somerset. Times 10.30 to 5pm
* We will study together the herbs i have included in my medicine bag over the many years of working in this arena.
* We will explore our thoughts and beliefs about offering herbs to clients. I hope by the end of the 2 days you will have clarity as to how best to extend your entusiasm and knowledge for using herbs.
* Our shared intention and focus will be happiness and healing.
* To include Nourishing and nurturing mother and baby during pregnancy.
* Birthing medicine bag .
* herbs for postpartum for mother and baby.
This is lovely course where those of us commited to being of assistance to others in the arena of mother and child can sit in the circle of love, explore, learn and share within an environment of safety and relaxation.
